ABACORP was entrusted with revitalizing the iconic Gowings Bar & Grill at QT Sydney, a venue renowned for its blend of New York steakhouse swagger and Little Italy charm. The project aimed to enhance the dining experience while preserving the establishment’s storied heritage.

The scope encompassed a comprehensive kitchen upgrade to support the evolving culinary direction under Executive Chef Sean Connolly. This included the installation of state-of-the-art equipment to facilitate the restaurant’s signature wood-fired rotisserie cooking techniques.

In the foyer, ABACORP introduced bespoke feature lighting and commissioned structural ceiling artworks, adding a contemporary flair that complements the venue’s eclectic design. The new seating area, adorned with olive green leather booths detailed in brass and ribbed glass, exudes a classic yet modern ambiance.

This transformation not only elevated the aesthetic appeal of Gowings Bar & Grill but also reinforced its status as a premier dining destination in Sydney’s CBD.
