This carefully considered refurbishment of the University of Sydney’s Fine Arts Library reimagined the interior of a heritage-listed space into a light-filled, contemporary learning environment.
Designed by renowned architects Allen Jack+Cottier, the project involved a full internal strip-out, services upgrade, and the construction of a new mezzanine level- delicately integrated within the existing heritage fabric.
The result is a timeless blend of old and new, brought to life with refined finishes, bespoke joinery, and curated furniture pieces that support both quiet study and creative collaboration.
